For this event, the action takes place in The Tentsheaf — the pub’s outdoor marquee area — creating a unique, open‑air party space perfect for a springtime reggae celebration. With a full bar and street‑style food available throughout the evening, it’s the ideal place to settle in, grab a bite, and enjoy the music.

The Event

The Reggae Resurrection brings a full‑on, party‑style Easter Sunday experience. Expect a busy pub‑gig atmosphere with dancing, chilled listening spaces, and a crowd ready to celebrate. The Reggulites will be delivering two live sets packed with roots classics, modern reggae, dancehall favourites and a few unexpected gems, keeping the energy high from start to finish. Between sets, DJs will be spinning vinyl‑only selections, adding to the authentic, old‑school vibe of the night. The outdoor marquee area includes picnic tables and additional seating, though these fill up quickly — early arrival is recommended if you’d like a seat.

Event Schedule

The band begins at 6:00pm, performing two live sets across the evening. Vinyl DJs will keep the music flowing before, between and after the band’s performances.

The Wheatsheaf is close to several free Sunday car parks, making it easy for drivers to find a spot. For those travelling by bus, multiple routes stop nearby, including the 16, 16A, 64, 714 and 751, offering convenient access from across the local area.
