Kick off your summer with two days of pure nostalgia, rhythm, and retro attitude at the Summer Ska, Scooter and Soul Festival, running Friday 3rd July to Saturday 4th July 2026. The weekend begins on Friday at 7 PM, and entry is completely free — 100% FREE, no tickets, no charges, just great vibes and plenty of space to park up.

This event welcomes families, music lovers, scooter enthusiasts, and anyone who lives for the sound and style of a golden era. Expect a friendly crowd, a relaxed atmosphere, and a festival built around community, culture, and classic tunes.

The Hosts

The festival is proudly hosted by Fat Bobs at The Blue Lias, a beloved Southam venue known for its warm welcome, lively events, and passion for retro culture. Set against the backdrop of the Warwickshire countryside, Fat Bobs brings together great music, great people, and the unmistakable scent of two‑stroke engines — the perfect home for a weekend dedicated to Ska, Soul, Mod, and scooter culture.

The Event

Across the weekend, you’ll be treated to a vibrant mix of 60s Mod, Mod Revival, Ska, Motown, Northern Soul, Blues, and Punk — all curated by Jimmy the MOD, your host and DJ for the festival.

Classic scooters will line the venue, from Lambrettas and Vespas to Royal Alloys, Scomadis, and Modenas — whether customised, standard, or fully decked out in mirrors and lights, every two‑wheeled beauty is welcome.

The festival kicks off in style on Friday night with a live performance from The Reggulites, bringing their signature reggae energy to open the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, the fantastic Ska Train keeps the momentum going with a lively set that’s guaranteed to get feet moving.

Expect dancing, nostalgia, great company, and a soundtrack that celebrates the music, style, and attitude of a timeless era.

Camping

Make a full weekend of it with on‑site camping available:

• £35 per night — Caravans or motorhomes (electric hookup + shower facilities)

• £15 per night — Tent pitch (no facilities)

• £20 per night — Tent pitch (with shower facilities)

Transport & Parking

There is plenty of parking available, making it easy for scooter riders, drivers, and campers to arrive and settle in. The venue is located just outside Southam, with straightforward access from surrounding towns and villages.
